The strange beauty of an event after the last guest leaves.

There is a moment, usually around three, when the last guest leaves and the music stops but the lights are still set for a party.

The room is no longer a world and not yet a venue again. Chairs pushed back at angles. A glass with lipstick. Somebody's left glove.
